GED/HS Diploma, plus two years direct work experience. Will organize and coordinate program activities and advocacy services for youth who are involved in gangs or at-risk for gang involvement. Must be able to read, write & understand English.

HEAD START BUS MONITOR
(Program: Head Start/Location: Hernandez)
GED/HS Diploma preferred. Exp. working w/children 3-5. Will assist the bus driver in the safe collection, transportation & discharge of Children. Must be over 21 years of age. Must be able to read, write & understand English.
Salary: $8.97/HR. Open Until Filled.

HEAD START COOK III
(Program: Head Start/Location: Hernandez)
Operates free standing kitchen. Minimum of two years of large quantity cooking experience. Preferably in a child care setting. Will maintain accurate records for CACFP reporting purposes. Must be able to measure accurately. Must be able to lift & carry 50 pounds +/-. Must be able to push carts with fairly heavy loads up to 100 lbs. Must be able to read, write & understand English.

HEAD START COOK’S HELPER
(Program: Head Start/Location: Rio Arriba County)
One year experience. Must be able to measure accurately, must be able to lift and carry 55 lbs. Must be able to read, write & understand English.

HEAD START FOOD SERVICE WORKER
(Program: Head Start/Location: Espanola)
One year food service experience preferred. Must be able to push carts with fairly heavy loads; up to 100 lbs. Must be able to read, write & understand English.

HEAD START TEACHER
(Program: Head Start/Location: Taos & Rio Arriba Counties)
AA in Early Childhood or BA in Education with 18 Credit Hours in Early Childhood. BA Preferred. Experience working with infants and toddlers ages 0-5 years in a group setting demonstrating interest, knowledge & ability in such work. Must be able to read, write & understand English.
BA: $15.80/HR; AA: $13.29/HR. Open Until Filled.

HEAD START TEACHER ASSOCIATE
(Program: Head Start/Location: Taos & Rio Arriba Counties)
GED/HS Diploma plus 6 months experience working w/children ages 3-5. Must have 45- hour entry level certificate, CDA or approved 3-credit hours in Early Childhood Education. Must be able to read, write & understand English.
Salary: $8.81/HR. Open Until Filled.
