Teen Court
This program is a diversion program designed to work with first-time youth offenders in preventing them from re-offending.
Youth are referred from the Valencia County Juvenile Probation Office.
Teen Court is a way for eligible teens to keep their records clean. If a teen successfully completes his/her sentence the charges and fines are dismissed. Teen Court does not determine guilt or innocence; Teen Court is for sentencing only. A teen must accept complete responsibility for their offense(s) to be heard in Teen Court.
Teen Court is a first offender program that guides youth through the experience of the court from sentence compliance to the jury panel.
